The Gender and Queer Studies Program at the University of Puget Sound began as the Women's Studies Program in 1972. These records include program materials such as correspondence, course offerings, budgets, reports, and surveys as well as research and resources collected by program coordinators. The bulk of the records are from the Women’s Studies Program (1972-2005) before it underwent its transition to Gender Studies and then Gender and Queer Studies, as it is known today.
