The collection is one bound volume of transcribed letters documenting the travels of Reverend David E. Blaine and his wife Catharine Paine Blaine and their life in the Puget Sound area of Washington state. The volume also contains papers and genealogical information.

This collection contains the personal reminiscences of Methodist minister Reverend Henry Brown, who ministered in Iowa and eastern Washington State. The collection includes scrapbooks and newsclippings.

Wood was a pioneer surveyor of the Pacific Northwest from 1883 to 1932 who worked at or visited sites including the Puyallup Valley, Auburn, Fort Nisqually, St. Joseph’s Mission near Yakima, Fort Simcoe, the Whitman Mission, Fort Dalles, Steilacoom, and other sites in Washington and Oregon. The collection consists of diaries and a photo album.
