Scope and Contents

A letter from Tacoma resident, Ray Thompson, to his father. Thompson informs his father that he recently received five job offers and that he is now a reporter for the Tacoma Ledger and an employee of the Tacoma Mill. Included with the letter is a clipping of Thompson’s first article for the Tacoma Ledger, "Tacoma May be Selected: Three Big Methodist Education Enterprises To Be Consolidated in Near Future." The article discusses the possible consolidation of Puget Sound University and Portland University.
