 Collection
Identifier: MSS-105

Scope and Contents

This collection consists of one 347-page typescript copy of Rev. David G. LeSourd's autobiography, An Itinerant's Career. In 1917 LeSourd dictated the autobiography to his wife, Maggie LeSourd, who recorded the work in longhand. The longhand was later transcribed into type by Charlotte Riemer, secretary to the then University of Puget Sound President, Edward H. Todd. The longhand copy of the autobiography was lost after it was transcribed, the typescript version is the only remaining version.

The typescript was eventually reviewed and edited by Chuck Luce, and then published in 2010 by the University of Puget Sound as An Itinerant's Career: The memoir of the Rev. David G. LeSourd.
