Pi Beta Phi letters to Sally Fitzpatrick, 3 August 1948 - 20 April 1949
Scope and Contents
The Sally Fitzpatrick letters are primarily made up of letters Fitzpatrick wrote to her mother, R. M. Fitzpatrick, in Kansas. These letters describe her experiences as a graduate student in Education at the University of Puget Sound. The papers also include correspondence between Fitzpatrick and Pi Beta Phi's Grand President, Amy Burnham Onken, and Grand Secretary, Lucile Douglass Carson (Mrs. Floyd H.). Reports written to Mrs. Carson from Fitzpatrick on the Washington Gamma Chapter of Pi Beta Phi are included, along with a petition pamphlet of information and letters of recommendation about the chapter. Also included are a telegram to her mother, a tuition check, and notes to Fitzpatrick.
